Local transportation

Public transport is an easy and quick way to reach Cagliari city centre from the airport or get to the airport from downtown.

Bus

The shuttle service linking the airport with Cagliari city centre is operated by ARST - Azienda Regionale Trasporti. The journey to and from P.zza Matteotti ARST Central Bus Station (where port and train station are within walking distance) takes approximately 10 mins. From P.zza Matteotti you can easily switch to local transport and reach your final destination in Sardinia.

The non stop service is operated every 30 mins. during most of the day. Bus fare is 4 euros for a single journey. Tickets are available at the ticket vending machine in the Arrivals hall of the airport, at the ARST ticket counter in p.zza Matteotti, at authorized dealers and on the bus (with additional charge).

Taxi

The fastest and most comfortable option to get to and from the airport is taking a taxi. A standard journey during daytime costs approximately between 15 and 20 euros.
