Today families of children affected by spina bifida and volunteers of A.S.B.I.-Sardegna have taken an exciting journey through the airport world and discovered some interesting aspects of the air travel industry.
In order to comply with national and international aviation rules, the Airport Emergency Plan has been tested today with a simulation involving 60 people among airport operators and authorities. Periodic emergency exercises are mandatory and allow to regularly plan for, prepare and test the operators' skills for emergencies in and around the airport.
Vueling and SOGAER announce new flights to Florence starting from 11.04.2014. The route will be operated six days a week (no flights on Thursdays). Next year the Spanish low cost carrier Vueling will connect Cagliari Airport to two destinations: Barcelona (El Prat) and Florence.
Today Cagliari Airport has hosted students and professors participating in an international student exchange program called ‘Per Mare’. Thanks to the contribution of company experts and local operators, the delegation of students from the three nautical schools of Bastia (France), Livorno (Italy) and Cagliari (Italy) has been introduced to various aspects of airport activities related to logistics.
The Winter Schedule ’13-’14 valid from October 27th includes a network of domestic and international routes operated from and to Cagliari Airport by the most prominent European flight carriers.
Cagliari Airport will be partner of the Tennis Club Cagliari, host of 2013 Fed Cup Final on 2nd-3rd November. A dedicated desk in the Arrivals area of the airport will welcome teams and tennis enthusiasts landing in Sardinia for the biggest sports event of the year.
