Cagliari 1920 Airport Store officially opened today

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of ‘Cagliari 1920 Airport Store’ has successfully taken place this morning in the renovated boarding area of Cagliari Airport. The new official store of Cagliari Calcio soccer team offers a great selection of sports- and leisurewear, gadgets and merchandise to football fans and supporters flying from South Sardinia. Guests and authorities gathered for the occasion at ‘Wine Bar 1920’ – located nearby the store - and enjoyed a cooking show provided by Michelin-starred chef Antonello Colonna.

General Aviation figures up 40% in July

Traffic at Cagliari Airport General Aviation Terminal hits new record: aircraft movements rose by 40% in July on the same period a year ago. Cagliari Airport ranked 1st in Italy and 5th in Europe for general aviation traffic growth (WINGX ranking). Ryanair to connect Cagliari and Verona during next winter

The new PRM brochure by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority is out now. The latest update of the document has been published online on the Authority’s website with useful info for disabled passengers and passengers with reduced Mobility (PRM) travelling by plane in the EU.

Volotea to fly to Catania and Turin during winter

It is the first time ever for Volotea to fly from Cagliari throughout the winter season. The low cost carrier will operate to and from Catania and Turin also during the coldest months of the year: tickets for both routes will be available continuously. Cagliari Airport accredited at Lvl. 1 for CO2 reduction

Cagliari Airport has successfully joined Airport Carbon Accreditation at Level 1 Mapping, becoming the 109th accredited airport in Europe. The accreditation programme has four levels of certification aiming to reduce and eventually neutralize carbon emissions among ACI airport members.
